Das Satellitenbild zeigt das ländliche Bayern, wo ich den Großteil meiner Kindheit verbracht habe. Die Landschaft ist durch die Landwirtschaft strukturiert und Felder und Wälder sind durch und Straßen, Dörfern und traditionelle Erbschaftslinien aufgeteilt. Die Formen der Strukturen die in meinem ersten Teil entstanden sind, sind interessant, denn sie sind organisch ausgelegt, dynamisch, statisch, wild, groß, klein, logisch - und zwar weil sie all dies auf einmal sind. Die Gründe dieser Strukturen resultieren zwar manchmal aus der Natur aber meist sind sie Spuren der Menschheit. Wenn man nur die Formen sieht kann man ihre Herkunft nicht mehr nachvollziehen, sie sehen einfach nur komisch aus. Die Menschheit hinterlässt in der Natur lustige Gestalten. Jedes Mal wenn ich ein Bild betrachte, versuche ich etwas Besonderes darin zu finden. So wie in diesem Fall, wo ich viele lustige Tiere und Monster gefunden habe.
The satellite image shows a rural area in Bavaria where I spent a big part of my childhood. The natural landscape is structured by agriculture, the fields and forests are divided by streets, villages and the traditional division that used to happen for inheritance. The forms that develop from the structure I traced in part one are interesting. They are organically constructed, dynamic, static, wild, big, small, logical - all together at the same time . The reasons for these forms are sometimes caused by nature, but mostly they are traces of humankind. If you only see the forms, they do not explain their origin, they just seem strange . The traces of humankind leave curious shapes in nature. Every time I see an interesting abstract form I try to find something concrete in it, and in this case I saw a lot of funny animals and monsters.
