Mein Bild zeigt einen Mann, der in der bestehenden Welt gräbt und sie nach seiner eigenen Vorstellung verändert. Dieses Phänomen kann man auf der ganzen Welt beobachten. Flüsse werden begradigt, Hügel abgetragen und Wälder abgeholzt, damit der Mensch die Welt nach seinen Idealen nachbauen kann und somit seine Spuren auf der Erde hinterlässt.
My work shows a man who digs the existing natural world, and then reshapes it according to his own imagination. This is an occurrence
that can be seen
all over the world. Rivers are straightened, hills removed and forests cut down in order that man
may build the world after his new ideas and thus leave his
trace on the earth.
