Rodrigo: I used to write about movies and this job got me everywhere in the world. The bad side: I never had enough time to walk around the cities on the right pace. Same this time. With the camera I went to San Francisco for a business meeting.
It was a pretty short trip, but I got lucky: It was the weekend of WonderCon, one of the biggest comic book convention on US soil. It is like a Mardi Gras or a Carnaval - but instead of girls with no clothes you have girls with really expensive and creative handmade costumes.
It is a lot of fun and a glimpse of the modern american pop culture. Just be sure to come back and walk on Haight St. and take the trolleys as well. Warning: I am a better writer than a photographer. Hope you enjoy anyway. Cheers.
